Using Design Thinking to introduce Artificial Intelligence

Design Thinking is a creative method in which interdisciplinary teams develop strategies or models. Canvas are used, which are covered with Post-Its. To arrive at a data strategy, the canvas of the data strategy designkit are suitable. These can be filled within a workshop in the company.

There are various starting points for developing a data strategy with canvas. It is possible to represent the current business model with the Business Model Canvas to understand the initial situation more precisely. If a data-driven application is to be specified for a business unit, the Analytics Use Case Canvas is suitable for understanding the requirements of the business unit. Various data-driven applications can be classified in the Analytics Maturity Canvas, which can reveal missing prerequisites. The Analytics Maturity Canvas can also be used to time the implementation of the use cases and develop a roadmap. The Data Landscape Canvas helps to uncover the available and missing data sources. With the Data Strategy Canvas, the date strategy can then be defined.
